WKImpact was founded by Wouter Koelewijn in 2016. As an independent senior impact investing specialist with 18 years of international experience, Wouter Koelewijn advises and connects impact investing organizations globally. Based in The Netherlands, Wouter Koelewijn serves the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) as a Senior Advisor, Europe, with a focus on The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. He also leads the GIIN’s work with global institutional asset owners. Before joining the GIIN, Wouter Koelewijn worked as a senior Strategy and Innovation Manager at the Dutch pension asset manager PGGM, a leader in the field of responsible investing and impact investing. Wouter started his career as a management consultant in corporate strategy and business development at Deloitte. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from VU University Amsterdam.
